We, at Gahfu Garifuna, are grateful for the donations of hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes received from Global Citizens USA. On Saturday 8 January 2022, we facilitated the distribution of the donated supplies to various individuals, groups and organizations within our diverse Central American communities. We appreciate the help from Dr. Alarcon for his assistance with the coordination and accountability of the donations. Also, thank you to brother Lupe Garcia for helping with the distribution and loading and unloading of the donations at the warehouse. We will continue to work with our Central American Community Partners to support all of our people. Always moving forward!
We are also waiting on another big donation of these same products for the Garifuna communities in Honduras, Belize, and Guatemala from Global Citizens USA.
